Job summary

Petsense by Tractor Supply is hiring a Team Member to deliver legendary customer service and support selling initiatives. You will handle cash, assist customers, and help care for live animals in a fast-paced retail setting.

The role requires reliability, ability to work varied hours, and the stamina to lift and move merchandise. A HS diploma is preferred, but not required, with emphasis on reading, writing and counting accuracy.

Qualifications

• No experience required; retail experience and/or pet/live animal knowledge is preferred.
• Reading, writing and counting ability required; HS diploma preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and follow cash handling procedures.
• Assist customers, answer questions and support selling initiatives.
• Maintain live animal care, including feeding, bedding and habitats.
• Recover merchandise, stock shelves and participate in merchandising plans.
• Complete documentation for duties and maintain a clean, safe store.
