Job summary

Petsense by Tractor Supply is seeking a Team Member to deliver legendary customer service while supporting selling initiatives and daily store tasks. You will attend to customers, handle transactions, restock merchandise, and assist with animal care in a fast-paced environment.

Flexible shifts, strong teamwork, and the ability to work early mornings, nights, or weekends are valued. Prior retail or pet knowledge is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• No experience required; retail experience and/or pet knowledge is preferred.
• Team Members must be able to read, write and count accurately.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance and work varied hours including nights, weekends and overtime as needed.
• Assist customers with loading purchases and provide legendary customer service.
• Operate cash register and follow cash handling procedures.
• Restock and recover merchandise; participate in freight processes and plan-o-gram activities.
• Care for live animals, maintain holding tanks, and ensure animal safety and welfare.
• Complete all documentation related to duties and stay compliant with store policies.
• Perform cleaning, price changes, markdowns and basic merchandising tasks.
