Plymouth Heights Pet Hospital in Minnesota is seeking a part-time Veterinary Assistant/Customer Service Representative. The role supports veterinarians and team members to ensure safe, high-quality care for pets and a positive client experience.

This AAHA-accredited six-doctor practice offers a collaborative, growth-focused environment and opportunities to learn daily. You will be part of a busy, client-facing team, handling medical histories, exams, patient comfort, and education.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Navta-approved Veterinary Assistant program preferred.
• One year of experience in a pet care setting.

Responsibilities

• Foster a culture built on Respect, Learning, Do the Right Thing, WOW Service, and Fun.
• Prepare exam rooms and medical equipment; maintain hygiene between appointments.
• Collect initial patient information and update records.
• Calm and restrain pets during procedures as directed.
• Educate clients on pet care and post-visit instructions.
• Monitor pets' status during and after visits; assist veterinarians.
