Job summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare the treatment room and gather necessary medical items and supplies for examinations.
• Restrain and handle pets during examinations, treatments, or inoculations as required by state rules.
• Prepare routine in-house laboratory tests (e.g., basic diagnostic tests) as allowed by state rules and regulations.
• Maintain hospital cleanliness, including housekeeping tasks, instrument cleaning, and sterilization per hospital protocols.
• Provide client education on preventive care, wellness plans, and the status of hospitalized pets.
