Job summary

Tailchasers Pet Resort is seeking a Reception Coordinator to lead front desk operations at our Arlington Heights and Lake Barrington locations. You will be the main contact for clients and ensure clear communication about each pet’s care, while collaborating with the Kennel Manager to keep daily operations smooth.

You will train new staff, provide coverage as needed, and support management on various projects. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months in customer service or reception leadership.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to manage inquiries and grievances with tact.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries and grievances with empathy and professionalism.
• Accurately manage and update pet care instructions for staff communication.
• Oversee the reception area, schedule appointments and process payments.
• Train and mentor reception staff to maintain a positive environment.
• Coordinate with the Kennel Manager to align front desk and care operations.
