Job summary

WellHaven Pet Health is seeking a receptionist to be the first point of contact, turning incoming calls into booked appointments with a positive, caring tone. You will educate clients, promote preventive care options, and support seamless call-to-appointment transitions in a busy veterinary setting.

Responsibilities include greeting clients, managing schedules, handling cashier duties, maintaining charts, and coordinating with the veterinary team to enhance the client experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of customer service experience, preferably at a front desk or call center.
• Experience with computers (typing, email, other software).
• Veterinary experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Fill the client schedule each day to provide access to care.
• Greet clients and patients warmly to ensure a welcoming experience.
• Maximize call conversions by managing incoming calls and scheduling appointments.
• Convert >20% of New Client calls to appointments.
• Educate clients on Care Companion Plans and preventive care options.
• Conduct weekly reminder calls for upcoming or overdue services.
