Petco is seeking a compassionate Concierge for our Vetco Total Care hospital to ensure top-quality client and patient experiences. You will be the first and last contact for clients, coordinating appointments, greeting patients, and supporting staff to maintain a smooth workflow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in veterinary practice or a customer-facing role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Compassionate and sympathetic demeanor with professional attitude.
• Exceptional telephone and computer skills are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Answer the practice phone and route calls appropriately.
• Maintain hospital appointment calendar and scheduling from callers or visitors.
• Greet visitors and clients by name; notify staff and monitor wait times.
• Assist in training of new staff and share knowledge as required.
• Ensure waiting area is clean and well-stocked, with disinfectants as needed.
• Confirm appointments by client preference (phone, email, text) the prior day.
• Provide backup support to technical staff when rooms are loaded or patients discharged.
