Job summary

University Veterinary Hospital, part of the Suveto network, in Shreveport, LA, is hiring a full-time Patient Care Coordinator. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service in-person and by phone, supporting doctors and staff, and ensuring compassionate care for clients and their pets.

Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, admitting patients, handling a multi-line phone system, and upholding our core values while maintaining a professional environment and loving on

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of client service experience is preferred.
• Has basic knowledge of computers.
• Able to handle a fast-paced work environment.
• Experience answering a multi-line phone system is a plus.
• Loves pets.
• Teamwork is important.
• Emotional intelligence to provide empathy and compassion to clients.
• Previous vet field experience and Ezyvet Software experience are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling appointments for multiple doctors and boarding facility.
• Answering phones on a multi-line system and directing them appropriately.
• Admitting patients into the hospital.
• Maintaining a professional environment.
