You will supervise daily store operations, coach partners, and ensure pet care standards are met while promoting a safe, welcoming environment for pets and customers. This full-time on-site role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail experience; supervisory or management experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Passion for animals and knowledge of pet care strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uphold Petco's animal care standards and safe handling of all animals.
• Lead and develop store partners to deliver outstanding service and build customer loyalty.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and recognition to strengthen performance and engagement.
• Maintain a clean, organized store reflecting Petco's brand and values.
• Lead from the floor to drive sales, service, and operational goals.
• Monitor store performance metrics and share insights with the General Manager.
• Assist with inventory control, merchandising execution, and promotional events.
• Step into leadership responsibilities in the General Manager's absence.
