Job summary

The Patient Liaison (PL) at ASPCA Community Medicine supports clients and medical teams to ensure high-quality, compassionate care. You will greet clients, assist with appointments and intake, handle payments, and provide translation support as needed in a caring, team-oriented environment.

This on-site role at our Queens location in New York requires English proficiency, with Spanish bilingual skills strongly preferred, and a dedication to serving diverse communities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience required.
• Customer service experience required.
• Experience in veterinary medical setting strongly preferred.
• Experience serving diverse communities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients, schedule appointments, and manage patient intake.
• Enter client and patient data into the database.
• Assist with payments and maintain cash register.
• Provide translation support when needed.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming lobby.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist with outpatient exams.
• Act as a scribe to improve team efficiency.
• Disinfect instruments and clinic areas.
• Restock medical supplies.
