Job summary

The ASPCA is seeking a Community Engagement Coordinator to build relationships with community organizations and identify pet owners in need of ASPCA services. The role involves field visits, coordinating services, and transporting animals between facilities.

You will work on-site in Long Island City and participate in events with NYPD and social services. Ideal candidates have strong public speaking skills, Spanish fluency, and experience in community services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years' experience in community services, client services, social services, or related field.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Engage with community-based organizations and stakeholders to promote ASPCA services.
• Lead ASPCA-hosted events and trainings 1–2 times per month.
• Coordinate with social service agencies and law enforcement to access services for clients.
• Provide case management and transport animals between sites as needed.
• Deliver outreach and education on animal welfare and ASPCA programs.
