Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Blow Molding Process Specialist to provide technical expertise and support for PET blow molding operations in beverage and specialty container manufacturing environments. You will partner with operations, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality bottle production.

The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, process optimization, and leadership to sustain best-in-class processing while protecting proprietary tech.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Plastics Technology, or related technical field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in PET blow molding operations or process support in manufacturing.
• Experience with beverage or packaging manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with blow molding systems such as Sidel, Krones, Sipa, or similar equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain, and optimize processing parameters for safe, efficient bottle production.
• Develop and maintain process setup sheets and operating parameters.
• Monitor process performance and assist in maintaining established conditions.
• Analyze production and test data to validate container performance against specs.
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and quality.
• Participate in mold changes and oven setup verification.
• Support start‑ups to ensure stable bottle production.
• Troubleshoot and resolve processing issues on blow molding equipment.
• Provide technical guidance to operators and train staff on process control.
