Job summary

Orkin is hiring in Marion, IL for an entry-level pest control role that trains you on installation and home protection systems. You’ll work with a crew to complete attic and crawlspace services, including encapsulation, while gaining hands-on carpentry experience.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and be able to lift 50 lbs. OSHA PPE and a pesticide license training are provided by the company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain a state pesticide license within 90 days (company-paid training).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work safely in attics or crawlspaces.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and install pest and home protection systems.
• Work collaboratively on a crew of technicians to complete a job.
• Complete attic and crawlspace services, including encapsulation and insulation.
• Light carpentry work.
• Communicate clearly with customers.
• Maintain company equipment and complete reports via handheld device.
