Job summary

Orkin is hiring pest protection technicians to inspect and install pest and home protection systems, with paid training and all tools provided. The role involves working with a crew to complete attic and crawlspace services, including encapsulation and insulation, plus light carpentry and customer communication.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent and a strong work ethic. You must be able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and obtain a state pesticide license within 90 days;

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in construction, roofing, HVAC, or maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to obtain a state pesticide license within 90 days with company-paid training.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and install pest and home protection systems.
• Work collaboratively on a crew of technicians to complete a project.
• Complete attic and crawlspace services, including encapsulation and insulation.
• Light carpentry work.
• Communicate clearly with customers.
• Maintain company equipment and complete reports via handheld device.
