Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a Pest Control Technician Trainee in Memphis, TN. You will start with a 5-week paid training program to learn pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques, with growth opportunities into service, sales, or management.

You will work overnight, Sunday–Thursday, in a field-based role serving commercial customers and protecting public health and brands through science-based solutions. A valid driver's license and eligibility for licensing are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of work or military experience.
• Valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
• Able to work overnight shifts and weekends as needed.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Pest certification and/or business licensing as required by state/local law.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 5-week paid training program to learn pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques.
• Establish effective relationships with commercial customers, including hospitality and foodservice sectors.
• Partner with customers on best practices to identify and solve pest elimination needs.
• Maintain expertise in Ecolab's product and service offerings to enhance service and sales.
• Use handheld equipment to document structural, sanitation, and pest issues.
• Deliver timely, cost-efficient, high-quality service under supervision.
• Obtain required pest control licensing and/or certification as mandated by state/local law.
