Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a Pest Control Technician Trainee to join our Allentown, PA team. You will begin with a 5-week paid training program in pest detection, elimination, and prevention, then work in a field-based role serving commercial customers across Harrisburg, York, and surrounding areas.

This position requires a driver’s license, ability to work overnights/weekends, and eventual pest certification/licensing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of work or military experience.
• Current and valid Driver's License with no restrictions.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts and be on call during weekends.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Must obtain pest certification and/or business licensing as required by state/local law.
• Background check and drug test required for job offers.
• Immigration sponsorship not available for this role.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 5-week paid training program for pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques.
• Establish relationships with commercial customers across hospitality and foodservice sectors.
• Identify pest elimination needs and collaborate with customers on best practices.
• Maintain expertise on Ecolab's product and service offerings to enhance service and sales.
• Document structural, sanitation, and pest issues using handheld equipment.
• Provide timely, cost-effective, high-quality service under supervision.
• Obtain required pest control licensing/certification as mandated by state/local law.
