Job summary

Ecolab in Allentown, PA seeks a Pest Control Technician Trainee to protect public health and commercial facilities with science-based pest elimination solutions. You will train in detection, elimination, and prevention techniques while building a long-term career in service, sales, or management.

Join a team delivering high-quality service in a field-based role, working 5am-2pm with occasional overnight on-call, and gaining licensing through a paid 5-week training program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of work or military experience.
• Current valid Driver’s License with no restrictions.
• Willingness to work overnight shifts and be on call on weekends.
• Must be 18+ and able to obtain pest certifications and/or business licenses as required by state/local law.

Responsibilities

• Participate in pest detection, elimination, and prevention techniques during training.
• Establish relationships with commercial customers in hospitality and foodservice sectors.
• Partner with customers to identify and address pest elimination needs.
• Maintain knowledge of Ecolab’s products and services to improve service and sales.
• Use handheld equipment to document pest and sanitation issues; provide timely, high-quality service under supervision.
