Orkin, a Rollins, Inc. company, is hiring in Indianapolis for a hands-on pest and home protection technician. No prior pest control experience required thanks to paid training.

You’ll inspect, install, and service attic and crawlspace solutions while collaborating with a crew of technicians. Ideal candidates have construction or maintenance experience and a strong work ethic, with opportunity for growth and a stable career in a recession-resistant industry.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, roofing, HVAC or maintenance preferred.
• Ability to obtain pesticide license within 90 days (company-paid training).
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Comfortable lifting 50 lbs., climbing ladders, and working in attics or crawlspaces.
• Willing to wear PPE including an OSHA-compliant respirator.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and install pest and home protection systems.
• Work collaboratively on a crew of technicians to complete a project.
• Complete attic and crawlspace services, including encapsulation and insulation.
• Light carpentry work.
• Communicate clearly with customers.
• Maintain company equipment and complete reports via handheld device.
