Job summary

Orkin in South Bend, IN is hiring hands-on technicians to inspect and install pest and home protection systems. You’ll work with a crew, perform attic and crawlspace services, light carpentry, and communicate clearly with customers to protect homes and businesses.

The role leverages construction or maintenance experience; training is provided, no prior pest control experience required. Competitive pay starting at $20+ per hour, plus comprehensive benefits and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain a state pesticide license within 90 days (company-paid training).
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and install pest and home protection systems.
• Work with a crew to complete assigned pest-control tasks.
• Complete attic and crawlspace services, including encapsulation and insulation.
• Light carpentry work.
• Communicate clearly with customers.
• Maintain equipment and complete reports via handheld device.
