Fox Pest Control is hiring a Pest Control Technician in Iowa. Paid training will credential you with state licenses, followed by ongoing growth opportunities and a stable, year-round role.

You will service routes within an assigned territory, inspect interiors and exteriors, and apply treatments safely while building trust with customers. The position emphasizes safety, independence, and professional development in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• 21+ (insurance requirement)
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work independently in the field
• Strong communication & customer service skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Willingness to learn and obtain necessary licenses
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background screening process relevant to the duties of the position, in accordance with applicable laws

Responsibilities

• Complete our paid training program to become licensed and skilled in pest management
• Follow a route within an assigned territory; ensure on-time arrival and professional service
• Inspect interiors/exteriors to diagnose pest issues (don’t worry—we teach you how)
• Apply pest control treatments safely according to label instructions
• Build trust through excellent communication and customer service
• Explain treatment plans, recommendations, and preventative steps to customers
• Maintain accurate records using a company provided handheld device
• Operate a company vehicle safely and maintain cleanliness of vehicle & equipment
• Work independently while representing Fox’s core values
