Job summary

American Pest Control in Champaign, IL is hiring Pest Control Technicians to serve homes and local businesses. You’ll start from home, drive a company vehicle, and manage your route with minimal supervision after training. No pest control experience is necessary.

We provide full training, tools, and support. A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required as you protect communities and grow your career.

Qualifications

• No experience in pest control necessary


• High School Diploma/GED


• Valid driver’s license must be maintained through life of employment


• Experience in home services industry is preferred but not required

Must maintain a good driving record and be able to pass criminal history background check, physical exam and drug screen.

Physical Demands / Working Environment:

Candidates must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations :

• Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer’s weight capacity


• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.


• Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.


• Able to work in all types of weather conditions
