Job summary

Rentokil North America is seeking a Field Training Specialist to lead on-the-job training for new Pest Specialists during their first 6 weeks, with weekly checklists and biannual recertification.

You will provide peer support, conduct weekly check-ins, monthly meetings, and oversee documentation as trainees progress to productive employees, while benefiting from a comprehensive Total Rewards program and benefits starting on day 1.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year with Rentokil North America as a Pest Specialist.
• Licensed with appropriate state/province applicator license & categories.
• Favorable ratings from the most recent Annual Performance Review.
• Conducts himself/herself in a professional manner.
• Must possess valid driver's license from state of residence.
• Fully-trained according Rentokil NA Career Advancement Program (Career Level 4 or 5).

Responsibilities

• Field Training New Pest Specialists - conduct on-the-job training with new hires during their first 6 weeks and ensure completion of weekly Field Training Checklists
• Peer Support for New Pest Specialists - conduct weekly check-ins and monthly meet-ups with new hire during their first year and complete associated documentation for records
• Successful completion of Rentokil NA Field Training Certification Program (with biannual recertification)
• As Primary Peer Support (Trainee's Weeks 1-6): ride-along for interview process, arrive on time for training, provide feedback, weekly manager communication
• As Peer Support (Trainee's Week 6 - 1 Year): build relationship, be available to trainee, help onboarding, communicate concerns to manager
