Job summary

Rocket Pest Control in Washington, NC is seeking a Pest Service Specialist to perform residential and commercial pest control, inspect properties, and implement Integrated Pest Management strategies using professional products.

Responsibilities include applying treatments, installing Sentricon systems, assisting with routes, maintaining schedules and equipment, documenting work, and communicating clearly with customers and sales staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of 30-day initial training and earning minimum of two CEU’s annually.
• Must have a current and valid driver license and a 5 year driving history.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and handle physical tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; telephone follow-ups and in-person correspondence.
• Must pass a seven-year criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide pest control services to residential and commercial customers, including inside and outside spray applications, traps, gel baits, per IPM.
• Assist pest service professionals on routes during time off or staffing shortages.
• Install Sentricon stations and drill holes/trenches for termite treatments; monitor bait stations.
• Maintain service schedules and call customers prior to service.
• Provide steam and liquid treatments for bed bugs and other applications.
• Assist with installing wildlife traps, seal gaps, and perform related construction tasks as needed.
• Inspect properties for additional pest needs and generate leads or proposals.
• Document service-related paperwork in a timely, orderly fashion.
• Maintain assigned vehicle and equipment in good condition.
• Adhere to driving laws and company policies; read product/PPE labels for safe use.
