Job summary

Rocket Pest Control is seeking a Pest Service Specialist to perform pest control services for residential and commercial properties using IPM practices. You will inspect properties, identify pest issues, apply treatments both inside and outside, set traps, and design follow-up strategies while maintaining safety and customer communication.

Requirements include a high school diploma, a 30-day training program, a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Successful completion of 30-day training (classroom and field).
• Must have a valid driver license and 5-year driving history.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Pass a 7-year background check, drug screen, and MVR as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide residential and commercial pest control services per IPM process.
• Assist pest service professionals on routes during PTO or shortages.
• Install Sentricon stations and drill/ trench as needed.
• Maintain service schedules and call customers before service.
• Provide steam or liquid treatments for pests and bed bugs.
• Assist with traps, caulking, and insulation-related tasks as needed.
• Complete service paperwork and keep vehicle/equipment in good condition.
