The Personnel Management Division (PMD) offers a role for you. As a leader in the management team within PMD, you will oversee the day‑to‑day administrative activities of a team of personnel professionals, provide classification and compensation policy guidance to departments and agencies, and address complex statewide personnel management issues in collaboration with other managers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day‑to‑day administrative activities of personnel professionals within the Personnel Management Division.
  • Provide classification policy guidance to departments and agencies regarding the State’s classification structure.
  • Supervise staff engaged in technical and analytical classification and compensation support for administering the state’s classification plan.
  • Lead on addressing complex statewide personnel management issues in cooperation with other managers, divisions, and stakeholders across PMD’s service areas (Personnel Services, Service and Seniority, Exempts, Training).
