Would you like to be part of a company that is employee owned? We invite you to consider joining WYATT. As a Personnel Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting workforce staffing, recruiting operations, onboarding, and personnel coordination for power, industrial construction, and maintenance projects. This position helps ensure skilled craft professionals are recruited, qualified, onboarded, and mobilized efficiently to meet project staffing demands while maintaining compliance with company, client, and safety requirements. Your efforts directly contribute to project readiness, workforce availability, and operational success across multiple jobsites.
Since 1913, WYATT has been a trusted leader in heavy mechanical construction, turnaround services, maintenance, and capital projects. For more than a century, we have safely delivered complex projects across the refining, petrochemical, industrial, and power sectors through skilled craftsmanship, operational excellence, and an unwavering commitment to safety. As an employee-owned company, we take pride in building lasting relationships with our customers while creating opportunities for our employees to grow and succeed.
A typical day begins by reviewing workforce staffing needs for active industrial construction projects and coordinating candidate pipelines to meet hiring requirements and project schedules. You will screen applications, verify licenses and certifications, conduct phone interviews, and coordinate onboarding activities including background checks, drug screenings, safety training, and site-specific compliance requirements. Throughout the day, you will communicate with recruiters, field supervision, project teams, and applicants to provide staffing updates, resolve onboarding issues, and ensure personnel are prepared for deployment. You will maintain accurate workforce records and onboarding data within company systems, track candidate progress, process staffing requisitions, and coordinate employee placement. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction and industrial environment while supporting safe, timely, and efficient project execution.
WYATT is committed to creating and maintaining an environment in which all employees feel valued, safe, and empowered to do their best work. We are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to protected status. Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
