Job summary

Fusion Academy in Plainsboro Township is seeking an English and History Teacher to personalize learning for students in grades 5–12. You will design creative lessons, adapt assessments, mentor students, and partner with parents while collaborating with a team dedicated to a student-centered approach.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree (advanced degrees or a credential are a plus) and can teach English Composition, Literature, World and U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
• Ability to teach a wide range of courses — curriculum and resources provided.
• Experience with students including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
• Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
• Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.
