Job summary

Fusion Academy is a fully accredited 1-to-1 private school for grades 5–12. We seek an English and History Teacher who will shape schedules, design creative lessons, and collaborate with colleagues. You’ll personalize education to support students academically, socially, and emotionally.

The role emphasizes mentoring, adaptable teaching across courses, and strong parent partnerships. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree; advanced degrees or a teaching credential are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of courses (English Composition, Literature, Language Arts, World and U.S. History, Government, Economics, Humanities, and Electives).
• Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
• Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
• Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.
