Job summary

Fusion Academy in Chicago is seeking an English and History Teacher to deliver 1-to-1 personalized instruction, shaping schedules, designing engaging lessons, and collaborating with a passionate team. You will mentor students socially and emotionally while maintaining detailed records.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree; teaching credentials are a plus. You’ll teach a broad range of English and history subjects, with curriculum and resources provided, and engage families in ongoing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of courses (English Composition, Literature, Language Arts, World and U.S. History, Government, Economics, Humanities, and Electives).
• Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
