Position Summary

As a Nutrition Lead at Life Time, you will be responsible for product education, sales, and customer service of LTH nutritional products inside of Life Time. This role requires a strong knowledge and passion for both nutrition and fitness, excellent sales skills, and the ability to mentor and guide commissionable team members to achieve sales targets. The Nutrition Lead reports directly to the Personal Training Lead within the club and will receive support from the Corporate LTH team.

Job Duties/Responsibilities
  1. Sales Training & Education:
    1. Conduct engaging training sessions for personal trainers, group fitness instructors, and front desk staff on our nutrition supplement products.
    2. Develop educational materials and presentations to simplify product knowledge and benefits.
    3. Conduct sampling events monthly during prime-time hours.
  2. Sales Strategy Development:
    1. Collaborate with staff to create and implement effective sales techniques and strategies for promoting nutrition supplements.
    2. Monitor sales performance and provide feedback and coaching to staff to maximize their potential.
  3. Product Inventory Management:
    1. Work closely with the cafe leader to ensure optimal inventory levels of nutrition supplements, especially before promotions or special events.
    2. Assist in planning and executing promotional campaigns, ensuring all staff are informed and prepared.
  4. Customer Engagement:
    1. Be available on the fitness floor to engage with members, answer questions about supplements, and provide personalized recommendations.
    2. Gather feedback from staff and members to refine product offerings and sales approaches.
  5. Collaboration:
    1. Foster a strong partnership with the cafe team to align nutrition supplement sales with cafe offerings.
    2. Participate in team meetings to share insights and strategies for improving overall member experience and satisfaction.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED
Years of Experience:
  • Background in nutrition, fitness, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in sales, preferably in the health and wellness industry.
Licenses / Certifications / Registrations:
  • CPR and AED Certified
Skills:
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to inspire and educate.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse staff and members.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Charismatic and approachable with a passion for health and wellness.
