YMCA of San Diego County is seeking a Personal Trainer to build positive relationships with members, deliver customized training programs based on goals, and maintain safety during workouts. Role involves greeting participants, instructing correct form, and ensuring engagement across all fitness levels.
Responsibilities include leading safe workouts, maintaining a clean facility, and effectively utilizing scheduled training time while supporting the health and wellness goals of the community.
The Personal Trainer is responsible for building positive relationships among members, participants, volunteers, and staff by actively greeting and providing excellent customer service, guidance, and leadership. The Trainer creates and delivers Personal Training programming based on participant’s goals and abilities while maintaining boundaries of certification. The Personal Trainer will instruct participants on correct position and body alignment to prevent injuries.
