YMCA of San Diego County is looking for a Personal Trainer to build positive member relationships and deliver goal-based programming. You will greet participants, guide form, and ensure safe workouts while maintaining a clean space.
The role requires bilingual English/Spanish, a recognized certification (NCCA) and CPR/First Aid; training must be completed within 90 days. Expect collaborative teamwork and diverse member interactions.
The Personal Trainer is responsible for building positive relationships among members, participants, volunteers, and staff by actively greeting and providing excellent customer service, guidance, and leadership. The Trainer creates and delivers Personal Training programming based on participant’s goals and abilities while maintaining boundaries of certification. The Personal Trainer will instruct participants on correct position and body alignment to prevent injuries.
