YMCA of San Diego County is seeking a Personal Trainer to build positive member relationships, design personalized workouts, and guide participants to safe, effective results. The role emphasizes welcoming participants, proper form, and injury prevention in a dynamic fitness environment.
The position requires bilingual English/Spanish abilities, a qualifying certification or degree, and completion of required trainings within 90 days of hire.
The Personal Trainer is responsible for building positive relationships among members, participants, volunteers, and staff by actively greeting and providing excellent customer service, guidance, and leadership. The Trainer creates and delivers Personal Training programming based on participant’s goals and abilities while maintaining boundaries of certification. The Personal Trainer will instruct participants on correct position and body alignment to prevent injuries.
