YMCA of San Diego County is seeking a Yoga Instructor to lead a Sunday 75-minute yoga class at the Toby Wells YMCA, greeting members and guiding safe, engaging sessions. You will demonstrate proper form, adapt to all fitness levels, maintain a clean space, and help participants reach health and wellness goals while building a welcoming community.
Qualifications include Yoga Alliance certification (RYT-200) and at least 1 year of class leadership experience, plus CPR/First Aid and fingerprinting
The Yoga Instructor is responsible for building positive relationships among members, participants, volunteers, and staff by actively greeting and providing excellent customer service, guidance, and leadership. The instructor creates and leads Yoga exercise classes in a safe, effective, and timely manner, appropriate to the level of the participants in class, to enhance physical, mental, and spiritual health.
