Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Certified Personal Trainer to support members in achieving healthier lives by building relationships and delivering educational, supportive coaching within our Minnesota clubs.

You will design safe, comprehensive client programs, conduct fitness consultations, promote training services, and maintain certifications. Strong customer service, reliability, and safety awareness are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of personal training experience
• Certified Personal Trainer
• CPR and AED Certified
• Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design
• Ability to perform aerobic activity for class duration and lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs
• Monitors and instructs clients during training sessions
• Reads, watches, and engages in required training
• Conducts fitness consultations for new clients with pre-participation screening and goal setting
• Provides fitness floor assistance to ensure safety and motivate members
• Fulfills member service requirements such as fitness assessments and equipment operations
• Promotes and sells personal training programs and services
• Completes administrative requirements for each clients fitness plan
• Remains current on credentials and continuing education
• Delivers superior customer service through complimentary and based services/programming
• Documents all aspects of client programming
• Advances through credentials and continuing education
