Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a Personal Trainer to support members in achieving healthier lives through education, coaching, and excellent service. You will build individualized programs, monitor sessions, and guide clients in safe, effective use of equipment while fostering a positive member experience.

You will conduct fitness consultations, promote training services, and stay current with certifications and industry trends to deliver superior customer care and measurable results.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of personal training experience.
• Certified Personal Trainer.
• CPR and AED certified.
• Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition, and program design.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develop safe, professional client programs to drive goal achievement and retention.
• Instruct clients during sessions on safe/effective use of cardio, flexibility and strength equipment.
• Read, watch, and engage in required training for the role.
• Conduct fitness consultations with pre-participation screening, medical history, and goal setting.
• Provide fitness floor assistance to ensure safety, education, and motivation.
• Fulfill member service requirements including assessments, desk duties, and equipment cleaning.
• Promote and sell personal training programs and services.
• Complete all administrative requirements for each client’s fitness plan.
• Remain current on certifications and industry trends.
• Ensure customers feel competent and connected through superior service.
