Job summary

Plus One, part of the Optum Workplace Well-being portfolio, is seeking energetic Personal Trainers to work at our fitness center in The Woodlands, TX. You will assess clients, customize exercise programs, and help individuals build a strong foundation for a healthier lifestyle.

We value certifications, current CPR/First Aid, and a genuine passion for guiding members. Opportunities exist to teach group classes and cover shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in exercise science, kinesiology or related field or an NCCA-accredited personal training certification.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Knowledge of exercise testing and prescription; ability to operate fitness tools and equipment.

What you will do:

• Conduct fitness assessments and implement personalized exercise programs to motivate and inspire your clients.

• This is an excellent opportunity to build a successful portfolio based on your availability. There are additional opportunities to teach group fitness classes and to provide coverage.

What we are looking for:

• A bachelor’s degree in exercise science, kinesiology or a related field, or a NCCA-accredited personal training certification.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Industry knowledge in exercise testing (assessments) and prescription (program design), and ability to operate various fitness tools and equipment.
