Job summary

Plus One, part of the Optum Workplace Well-being portfolio, is seeking per diem Personal Trainers to work at a high-profile fitness center in Mountain View, CA. You will conduct fitness assessments and tailor personalized exercise programs to motivate clients while building a training clientele.

This role offers the chance to guide equipment use, stay current with certifications, and possibly teach group fitness classes or provide coverage in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in exercise science, kinesiology or related field, or a NCCA-accredited personal training certification.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Knowledge of exercise testing and prescription and ability to operate fitness tools and equipment.

We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic per diem Personal Trainers to work at a high-profile company's fitness center located in Mountain View, CA.

What you will do:

• Conduct fitness assessments and implement personalized exercise programs to motivate and inspire your clients.
• Establish and maintain a personal training clientele.
• Provide guidance to members on proper use of equipment.
• Remain current on certifications and new trends in the industry.
• This is an excellent opportunity to build a successful portfolio based on your availability. There are additional opportunities to teach group fitness classes and to provide coverage.

What we are looking for:

• A bachelor’s degree in exercise science, kinesiology or a related field, or a NCCA-accredited personal training certification.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Industry knowledge in exercise testing (assessments) and prescription (program design), and ability to operate various fitness tools and equipment.
