Job summary

YMCA of Greater Brandywine seeks a dedicated personal trainer to conduct sessions and fitness assessments for members in a supportive, professional environment. You will assess needs, tailor workouts, and monitor progress to help individuals reach their wellness goals.

You will follow YMCA guidelines for safety, communicate with current and prospective clients promptly, schedule sessions, and support a culture of healthy living.

Qualifications

  • Personal training certification required and recognized (NCCA/ICE).
  • Availability nights and weekends.
  • Knowledge of basic and advanced exercise principles.
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in exercise science or health-related fields preferred.

  • Lead personal training sessions and fitness assessments.
  • Communicate with members in a timely, professional manner.
  • Ensure safe exercise techniques and report equipment issues.
