The YMCA of Greater Brandywine is hiring for a Wellness Center Attendant to greet members, supervise fitness areas and ensure safety. You’ll be in a fast-paced environment, providing guidance with a friendly, professional approach and upholding facility standards during all operating hours.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Effective communication skills and ability to interface with all personality types.
• Obtain and maintain all additional new hire certifications and trainings within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Wellness Center Orientations and assist members in a safe, courteous manner.
• Maintain center cleanliness and ensure equipment is ready during operating hours.
• Report any mechanical issues and document maintenance needs.
• Provide advice, spotting and assistance to members as needed.
• Support special events and open houses throughout the year.
• Encourage healthy lifestyle choices and compliance with YGBW policies.
