Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to inbound customer inquiries via phone or email, delivering outstanding service with a positive attitude.
- Assist clients with policy questions, claims processing, billing issues, and coverage options by providing clear explanations and guidance.
- Conduct outbound calls to follow up on client requests, gather information, or offer additional insurance products tailored to their needs.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions using data entry tools and client management systems.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions securely when required, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve complex issues efficiently by analyzing customer data and communication history.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette, active listening skills, and effective communication to build rapport and trust with diverse clients.
Qualifications
- Licensed Property & Casualty insurance agent in PA (or ability to obtain within 1 year). Existing license preferred.
- 5+ years of business administration experience; 2+ years of client service.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced office while maintaining professionalism.
- Positive, client‑first attitude with strong teamwork and confidentiality standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) and general computer skills for data entry and documentation.
- Experience with outbound calling campaigns and call center operations is highly desirable.
- Excellent analysis skills to interpret customer needs and provide appropriate solutions efficiently.
- Attention to detail in cash handling, typing accuracy, and maintaining comprehensive client records.
- Knowledge of customer service best practices, including call etiquette, active listening, and problem‑solving techniques.
