Job summary

The Smith Sawyer Smith Agency in Illinois is seeking a Personal Lines Insurance Customer Service Representative to deliver friendly, one-on-one service to personal lines clients and handle policy questions, endorsements, renewals, and new business.

You will review coverage with clients, coordinate with carriers to resolve issues, maintain organized files, and be a trusted contact for clients and agency partners, with ongoing training and strong team support.

Qualifications

• Property & Casualty insurance license (or willingness to obtain).
• Personal lines insurance experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented with a positive, team‑first attitude.
• Comfortable using agency management systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal, one‑on‑one service to our valued personal lines clients
• Assist with policy questions, endorsements, renewals, and new business
• Review coverage with clients to ensure their needs are met
• Work directly with insurance carriers to resolve client issues
