Job summary

Insurance Partners, Inc. in Springfield, IL is seeking a Personal Lines Customer Service Representative to build relationships with clients, handle quotes, policy servicing, and new business in a friendly, professional environment.

You’ll balance inbound calls, walk‑in clients, and carrier communications while delivering a consistently positive client experience from first contact through ongoing account service.

Qualifications

• Prior personal lines insurance experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of personal lines products, coverage, and terminology.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to confidently handle both new business and existing account servicing.
• Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Professional, personable, and comfortable communicating with clients by phone and in person.
• A team-oriented attitude and a willingness to help wherever needed.
• Active insurance licensing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls and assist clients with questions, requests, and insurance needs
• Welcome and assist walk‑in clients with a warm, professional approach
• Quote and write new personal lines business
• Service existing personal lines accounts, including policy changes, certificates, billing questions, and other client requests
• Review policies and coverage to help clients understand their insurance
• Communicate with insurance carriers to resolve issues and obtain information
• Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with clients
• Follow up on new business opportunities and outstanding service items
• Provide a consistently positive client experience from the first interaction through ongoing account service
