Job summary

The Personal Lines Service Account Manager handles a book of insurance business with independence and discretion, delivering professional service to clients, producers, and HUB colleagues to maintain and grow accounts.

They collaborate with Account Managers and underwriters, manage documentation and data in systems, and travel as required for client meetings and renewals, contributing to achieving departmental targets.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written English communications skills.
• Superior customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Private Client Service experience preferred
• Proficiency with computer systems (Microsoft Office and agency management systems).
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Makes decisions on books of insurance business for which the incumbent is responsible.
• Works closely with Account Managers, Producers and HUB personnel on client service, marketing, and renewal.
• Oversees the preparation and implementation of all transactions, paperwork, and internal processing for assigned accounts.
• Acquires understanding of clients’ insurance objectives and analyzes insurance plans for suitability.
• Stays informed of changes in the insurance industry that may impact clients.
• Negotiates with underwriters and carriers when needed.
• Maintains documentation and updates HUB systems with conversations and actions.
• Travels on company business as required.
• Prepares reports for management.
