Job summary

The Juris Agency is seeking an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to service existing accounts and handle new and renewal business. You will ensure accurate, courteous service to colleagues, clients, producers and company personnel, while growing insurance knowledge and capabilities.

Responsibilities include rating, quoting, binding, preparing proposals, reviewing documents for accuracy, ordering reports, and supporting cross-selling efforts.

Qualifications

• Three years as a personal lines Account Manager.
• Fully licensed Fire & Casualty Broker/Agent.
• Strong knowledge of insurance products and coverage.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for daily service on assigned book of business.
• Rate and quote new and renewal business.
• Bind coverage and confirm with client.
• Prepare proposals for new and renewal clients.
• Review and process applications, renewal requests, policies, endorsements and audits for accuracy.
• Order motor vehicle reports and other documents as required.
• Assist other departments in issuing appropriate policies for mutual clients.
• Keep client records up to date.
• Obtain expiration dates for policies not written by us to follow-up and quote.
• Assist in cross-selling and account rounding.
