Job summary

Powers Insurance and Risk Management in St. Louis seeks an enthusiastic producer to grow and manage a personal lines book of business. You will be a self-starter with strong communication skills, building relationships and driving growth under the COO and Personal Practice Leader.

The role focuses on generating leads, quoting and placing new personal accounts, and maintaining client satisfaction while staying current with industry trends and product offerings.

Qualifications

• Self-starter with aggressive follow-through and attention to detail.
• Experience in the insurance field preferred, but not required.
• Minimum 2 years’ sales experience.
• Competent with Microsoft Office and agency management systems; must learn the AMS.

Responsibilities

• Generate leads, develop accounts, and manage personal insurance books of business.
• Coordinate with Personal Lines Manager to identify target markets.
• Present coverage proposals to prospects and close sales.
• Maintain records in the agency management system.
• Participate in training programs and networking activities.
