Job summary

Jonus Group in Ohio is seeking a motivated Personal Lines Service Representative with sales potential to join our in-office team. You will handle personal lines servicing, quotes, renewals, and build client relationships while exploring sales opportunities.

Ideal candidates will have a P&C license and strong customer service skills, with a readiness to develop sales abilities and potentially transition to a sales-focused role within six months.

Qualifications

• Active P&C license
• Previous personal lines insurance experience preferred
• Familiarity with small business commercial is a plus
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to balance service with sales opportunities
• Proactive, self-motivated, detail-oriented and team-oriented

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to personal lines clients, including quoting new business and processing renewals.
• Utilize quoting tools and agency management software to manage client accounts efficiently.
• Handle inbound service calls and inquiries and provide timely solutions.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell insurance products to existing clients.
• Develop and maintain relationships to support retention and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with management and team members for seamless client experiences.
• Work with carriers to obtain competitive coverage options and pricing.
• Support new business development and gradually assume additional sales responsibilities.
• Assist with small business commercial accounts as opportunities arise.
• Stay informed about insurance products, industry trends, and carrier guidelines.
