Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a Client Service Specialist in Personal Lines to deliver high-quality support and develop trusted relationships with clients. You’ll work in a hybrid setup with a focus on responsive service and problem-solving, while growing your expertise in a digitally evolving environment.

The role supports our Gloucester, MA office and requires 1–2 years of customer service experience, plus a P&C license or plan to obtain it within 90 days.

Overview

As a Client Service Specialist in Personal Lines, you’ll deliver responsive, high-quality support while developing the skills to become a trusted partner to clients. You’ll go beyond handling requests, learning to identify needs, guide decisions, and contribute to stronger client relationships. This is a hybrid position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST. If you’re passionate about building relationships, solving problems, and making a real impact, this could be the perfect role for you. This role supports our Gloucester, MA office location.

How you'll make an impact

• Act as a trusted contact within a pooled model, delivering responsive, accurate support across Personal Lines needs.


• Manage inbound and outbound interactions across channels, ensuring clear, efficient, relationship-focused experiences.


• Handle billing inquiries, guiding payments and resolutions while coordinating for timely outcomes.


• Process policy changes, endorsements, cancellations, and renewals with accuracy and compliance.


• Explain coverage, exclusions, and options in a clear, client-friendly way.


• Support claims by guiding next steps and setting clear expectations.


• Take a proactive, consultative approach, identifying needs and strengthening coverage solutions.


• Resolve standard requests independently, escalating complex cases as needed.


• Use digital tools to deliver faster, more streamlined service.


• Build trust through consistent, high-quality interactions that drive retention.

About You

Here’s what you’ll bring to the role:

• Bring 1–2 years of customer service, insurance, or related experience, or the drive to gain it quickly.


• Hold a P&C license or commit to obtaining it within 90 days.


• Communicate clearly, explaining coverage and next steps in a client-friendly way.


• Stay organized and detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy across tasks and priorities.


• Demonstrate a client-first mindset, building trust through responsiveness and professionalism.
