Job summary

Gallagher in Gloucester, MA is hiring a Client Service Specialist in Personal Lines. You will deliver responsive, high-quality support, learn to identify client needs, guide decisions, and strengthen relationships.

This hybrid role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST and supports our Gloucester office. With 1–2 years of customer service or insurance experience, or the drive to gain it quickly, you will obtain a P&C license within 90 days and communicate coverage clearly.

• P&C license or plan to obtain within 90 days.
• Communicate coverage and next steps clearly to clients.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted contact within a pooled model, delivering responsive, accurate support across Personal Lines needs.
• Manage inbound and outbound interactions across channels, ensuring clear, efficient experiences.
• Handle billing inquiries, guiding payments and resolutions for timely outcomes.
• Process policy changes, endorsements, cancellations, and renewals with accuracy.
• Explain coverage, exclusions, and options in a client-friendly way.
• Support claims by guiding next steps and setting expectations.
• Take a proactive, consultative approach to identify needs and strengthen coverage.
• Resolve standard requests independently; escalate complex cases as needed.
