Job summary

Capstone Search Group is assisting an independent insurance agency in Hartford, CT, to hire a Personal Lines Account Manager. The role focuses on delivering prompt client service for an existing client base, handling renewals, coverage questions, and new business processing.

The successful candidate will possess 2–3 years of personal lines experience, a state license, and familiarity with Applied Epic in a fast-paced retail agency environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of progressive experience in personal lines, preferably in a retail agency setting.
• State insurance license required.
• Experience with Applied Epic strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as a main point of contact for processing, client services, ongoing support for claims issues, and more
• Manage the renewal process with a complete understanding of coverages, carriers, review of pricing, and recommended solutions
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, to include carrier contacts, sales agents, clients, and other staff members

About the Role

This independent insurance agency is looking for a high performing Personal Lines Account Manager to join their growing team. You will serve a critical function to provide prompt and effective customer service to an existing client base that relies upon this role for daily client questions, renewals, coverage questions, processing new business, and more. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of multiple insurance companies and can adjust quickly in a fast-paced work environment.

Duties & Responsibilities
